AUDITIONS AUGUST 13 & 15 6pm-8:30pm
by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman
Directed by Yvette Keast
This powerful adaptation by Wendy Kesselman takes the audiences through the historic travesty of the horror the Frank family faced during WWII. Anne Franks lyrical way of writing in her diary displays how intensely gifted she was for a young girl. She confronts the changes in her life with a passion, honesty, wit and determination. It captures the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence and will share their fear, their hope, their laughter and their grief.  This play will stretch every actor to develop a character with substance, it demands that we explore depths of our emotions as an actor and as an audience member.  5 MEN 5 WOMEN a few extras needed ages 14-up. The new adaptation leaves room for a lot of creativity in the production for the director and actors.
